Chronic Disease Community Program Facilitator

A mother, grandmother and a third generation native Vermonter with a passion for photography I love to wander the hills and valleys for the perfect nature or wildlife shot. An added plus is the opportunity to forage for edible and medicinal plants along the way as did my grandmother and great-grandmother before me. A former educator with over twenty five years in the Vermont public schools, I love to read and consider any day that I learn something new from either books or conversations with others; a good day! As an artist who works in many different mediums, I love to create and thoroughly appreciate the original work of others and hope someday to aspire to their level of expertise.  Always a collector of historical items too numerous to mention, I find the personal histories behind each and every one fascinating and often use them in presenting programs which highlight the history of our amazing world!

I am delighted to be the new Community Program Facilitator for the Abenaki Nation of Missisquoi and sincerely hope that my skills and hard work will directly benefit the upcoming programs and continued success of the tribe as a whole! I welcome your input in making that goal a reality and look forward to getting to know and appreciate each and every one of you!
